How to play

Two players, 15 checkers each. You move your checkers round to your home (bottom right) and bear them off; whoever bears off all 15 first wins the round.
Roll the dice, then move: tap a checker and then where it goes, or drag it there. Each die moves one checker; a double is played four times. When you can, you must play both dice; when only one, the bigger one.
Portes: the usual start. A single checker that is hit goes to the bar and must come back in first. Two or more checkers hold a point: nobody lands there.
Plakoto: all 15 start on one point. Landing on a single checker of the opponent pins it: it cannot move until you leave. Pinning the last checker the opponent has on its starting point (the mother) wins the round at once, as two.
Fevga: both go the same way round, from opposite corners. Nothing is hit: one checker holds a point. The first checker must reach the opponent’s starting quarter before another one leaves the start, and six points in a row are not allowed unless an opponent checker is already past them.
The match: the games you chose are played in turn, and the winner of a round starts the next. The first to win the rounds chosen (3, 5, 7 or 10) wins the match. A mars (the other has not borne off a single checker yet) counts as two rounds.
Chips: the winner of the match gets 60, the loser -60.
Quick game: one game only, not a match — you pick Portes, Plakoto or Fevga. It pays a part of the match’s chips, by the length of the game: Portes 18%, Plakoto 24%, Fevga 27%.
Leaving costs chips after the first 3 dice rolls of the match, in any round (instead of the chips for the loser, never both). Once the match has a winner, leaving is free. How many depends on the table (its length, the stakes and the players or bots); the leave window always shows the exact number.

The chips written here are for a whole game with people. A shorter game, or easy bots, pay less; hard bots pay more. What your table really pays shows at the end of the game (and before it in the «Table» panel, in the games that have one); the leave window always shows the exact leave cost.

Daily win limit: the games pay up to 1500 chips of wins a day, all of them together. The win that reaches it is paid in full; after it you can go on playing as usual for fun, and the chips come back the next day.
