Questions

Is it free?

Yes. Every game on the site is free to play. You can buy more chips if you want, but you never have to.

Do I need an account?

To start games, keep your history and appear in the leaderboard, yes. To join a friend’s room, a nickname is enough.

How do I play with friends?

Start a game with human seats: you get a room code and an invite link. Send them to your friends and they join from their own device. You can also open a public room that others can ask to join.

What are the AI players?

Computer players with three levels: easy, medium and hard. They play by the same rules as you and never see hidden cards or the next card.

What are the chips?

Play chips, the same for every game. You start with 2000 and they are won and lost in the games. You can also buy chips, but they have no money value and cannot be sold, exchanged or refunded. Below 100 chips? You get 250 free chips the next day. Leaving a game that already counts (from 3 letters, or 3 hands at twenty-one) costs chips; before that, leaving is free. How many depends on the table (its length, the stakes and the players or bots); the leave window always shows the exact number. At twenty-one, leaving is also free when the bank changes, until the new bank deals. The chips you win in the games raise your level (bought and free chips do not). Every new level gives 150 chips.

Chips against bots

At a table where all the others are bots, a win pays according to their level: 50% against easy bots, 100% against medium, 150% against hard (the easiest at the table counts). A loss stays as it is.

Drop them all and keep everything standing for 10 seconds after the last one — nothing lost in the pit, nothing broken. A game is a session of 10, 20 or 30 levels, played alone. The server replays every passed level with the same physics before it counts it. Further on: glass (it shatters if it falls from high or something heavy lands on it), buildings (they cannot be turned and must not fall over), scales and see-saws that lean towards the heavier side, oiled steel that everything slides on, and things already standing that must not fall.

How do chips move between players?

At tables with people only, the site keeps nothing: everything the losers lose goes to the winners. Nobody ever goes below zero: who has fewer chips than the loss loses only what they have, and the winners share only that. At tables with bots, the site pays the winners and takes the losses, as written for each game. Two players from the same internet address move no chips between them, so that nobody can pass chips to a second account.

Why can I not sit at a table?

Every table needs at least the smallest loss it can cost: its loss for the last place, or the leave penalty when that is smaller. With fewer chips, wait for the free chips of the next day.

What does leaving a table cost?

Leaving a table that already counts costs the larger of the two: the leave penalty or what you would lose at that moment. The penalty depends on the table (its length, the stakes and the players or bots), and the leave window always shows the exact number. At a table of people, these chips go to the players still playing against you. If you have fewer, you lose what you have and never go below zero.

Hangman and Zygos: chips little by little, +10 for every word found in Hangman and +10 for every level passed in Zygos (tries cost nothing). Leaving before 3 minutes costs 50 chips; after that, leaving is free and you keep everything you won. Each of them pays up to its own chips a day (Hangman 500, Zygos 500); after that you can go on playing for free.

Is there a limit to the chips I can win?

Yes: the games pay up to 1500 chips of wins a day, all of them together (the level bonus, the free chips and the videos do not count). At a table of people, a player over the limit takes nothing from the others when winning, but still pays when losing.
