Two players on a board of 8 × 8 squares, with discs that are dark on one side and light on the other. The game starts with four discs in the middle, two of each colour on a diagonal. Dark moves first; in the next game of the match the other player has dark.
On your turn you place a disc of your colour on an empty square so that one or more of the other’s discs lie in a straight line (across, down or diagonally) between it and a disc of yours: all of them turn over to your colour. The squares where you can play glow: tap one.
One disc can close several lines at once, and all of them turn. Only the discs closed by the disc just placed turn, never any others along the way.
If you have no square where a disc turns something, you pass and the other player moves again. When neither can move, or the board is full, the game is over: the one with more discs wins it, and the same number is a draw.
If the table chose it, the board starts empty: the players place the first four discs themselves on the four middle squares, one each in turn, and nothing turns until then.
You have 45 seconds for each move: when they run out, a sensible move is played for you.
The match: the first to win the games chosen at the start (1, 3 or 5). A draw counts for nobody.
Chips: the winner of the match gets 60, the loser -60.
Leaving costs chips after the first 4 moves of the match. Once the match has a winner, leaving is free. How many depends on the table (its length, the stakes and the players or bots); the leave window always shows the exact number.
The chips written here are for a whole game with people. A shorter game, or easy bots, pay less; hard bots pay more. What your table really pays shows at the end of the game (and before it in the «Table» panel, in the games that have one); the leave window always shows the exact leave cost.
Daily win limit: the games pay up to 1500 chips of wins a day, all of them together. The win that reaches it is paid in full; after it you can go on playing as usual for fun, and the chips come back the next day.
